Location Architect The owners of the successful There Bar restaurant in Telluride, Colorado awarded the buildout of their second There… restaurant location to Jordy Construction based on an initial meeting at the job site the same day the initial contact was made. Jordy quickly assembled a design team in a design-assist management format to put the creative ideas of the ownership group on paper. Jordy worked very closely with the owner and design team to help the owner realize their vision and hit their budget. The project consisted of a first use buildout of a restaurant and marketplace in a new Class A mixed use building in the ultra-competitive LoHi neighborhood. Jordy constructed the “engine” of the restaurant by building the walls, the MEP systems, the kitchen exhaust system, and most of the finishes and worked closely with the ownership group who self-performed many of the quirky millwork items that give the space it’s eclectic charm. The end result of the intense collaboration provided a visually appealing space that perfectly compliments the exciting and appetizing menu.
