Las Delicias

Jordy Construction interviewed against three general contractors for the remodel of Las Delicias – a local, family owned, 45 year old multiple location brand. This particular store was the original location and the program called for a full interior demolition, new kitchen and dinning areas. In order to remain relevant, the Torres Family, decided to structural shore up the entire first floor and build a new roof top patio and full service bar. Finally, the design called to build a small addition in the existing alley for new stairs and storage. The new kitchen was complete with captive air hoods, make up air units and a fully new cook line. A new dish room was placed nearby the kitchen – making for a complete new work flow for the entire restaurant. Jordy Construction worked closely with the architect, Steve Lubowicki to negotiate the challenges of unforeseen existing conditions as they related to the building code. Weekly meetings covered a vast amount of information and owner, general contractor and architect, worked in lock step to deliver the project and launch Las Delicias new look. The Torres Family remains a close client of Jordy Construction’s, we are happy to have been involved with this dynamic project.
