Location Architect The Four Seasons Veterinary Specialists, located in Loveland was a build-out of 5,000 square foot shell into a new 24-hour emergency critical care and specialty hospital for Northern Colorado offering surgery, ER and critical care, outpatient and inpatient ultrasound, digital radiography, cardiology and dentistry. Jordy Construction was brought on early in the design process and helped guide the project through budgeting and scheduling before serving as general contractor. The challenges of the project revolved around the building having not been occupied for five years, some of the equipment not being functional and a tight schedule. In three months, Jordy did a complete build-out of shell, including the underground electrical and plumbing, build-out of walls with finishes that included paint and wall tile. The flooring involved tile, welded sheet vinyl and epoxy floors. Extensive millwork was done including solid surface tops. Jordy relocated one RTU and furnished and installed two others. Medical gas systems were put in place with oxygen and medical vacuum as well as a complete central vacuum system. The Jordy team worked closely with the subcontracting team and communicated closely with the client to present a completed space functional for Four Seasons Veterinary Specialists. In the end, the project was a huge success!
