Jordy Construction was excited to be interviewed early on and brought in as part of the design assist team on this expansion of Cucina Colore Bar and New dinning area expansion. After over 20 years of success Venizio Momo, owner of Cucina Colore decided to expend his bar and seating area into a vacant adjacent space.

Utilizing the adjacent space and the existing separation wall as a natural barricade, Jordy’s team began all of the underground plumbing and necessary infrastructure for the new bar and seating area. This phase of the job was brought to near completion and then Jordy tore down the demising wall and joined the 2 spaces together. The first phase was completed while the restaurant was in full operation. The 2nd phase was completed in 8 weeks while the restaurant temporarily closed.

Jordy Construction worked closely with Roth Sheppard Architects to assist in means and methods analysis, real time cost projections, and schedule compression ideas as they related to design and permitting. Due to high level of coordination, a savvy owner and solid design, this project was a success for all involved. We are proud to have delivered this project for Cucina Colore – a Cherry Creek staple in the culinary scene of Denver.
