Location Architect This project was an adaptive reuse of 60-year gas station and tire shop on East Colfax. The architect, Semple Brown, made brilliant use of the nostalgic features – triangular flared roof, 1950’s style storefront, and garage doors, to accentuate the new full service Italian food and gourmet pizza restaurant. Jordy Construction installed all new infrastructure for the build out, including, HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems. Extensive leak testing and repairs were made to the roof. To accommodate the bar – detailed coordination meetings were conducted to assure all features fit exact per plan. One of the main features – the custom pizza oven – was staged early on to assure proper placement. The flue for the oven was customized to accentuate the design and comply with all existing building conditions. Despite all the challenges of building during the pandemic – this project was a success for all involved.
